Sorry everybody for the lack of posting. It's been one heck of a couple of weeks. Grant started out with a cold, cough, pink eye a few weeks ago. Which meant no sleep for him or me because of his darn cough. Then I got it, not to mention bronchitis on top of it. Followed by Matt getting the nasty cold and cough. Then Grant got it in his other eye. I think I've had it with this darn cold. Who would have thought we would all be so sick when it's 85 degrees outside. However, we do seem to be getting better.....slowly but surely.
Here's what we've been up to:

A trip to Washington D.C. with the Stowe's; visiting the aerospace museum

Grant loved seeing the airplanes and helicopters

Matt and Grant in front of the Blackbird

While we were in D.C. we stopped at the Zoo

resting in front of the elephants

Grant loved all the animals, he is at such a fun age.

Grant and Madeline checking out the Gorilla's

Easter Sunday Grant was so spoiled from the Easter bunny and an awesome package from Grandma Godfrey. Grant didn't seem to be as interesting in candy Easter morning as he was his new cars. However he still found something to do with his candy. He raced the spree packages down his race track.

Trying to fit all his new cars into his new garage

This is his intense face as he opened Grandma and Grandpa's package.

He loved all the new cars that came in the package. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Grant hanging out Easter morning

We had a quick little easter egg hunt with Grant's friends Aspen and Brooklynn. The picts are backwards, but Grant was so into it at first. He gathered as many eggs as he wanted, then he was done and left to find the ball.

This was our attempt to color eggs. Grant did not want any help.

He loved it, but it was not the easiest thing to do with him since he wanted to do everything by himself.
Matt and I felt so sick on Sunday. It was such a beautiful day. So what did we do with our 22 month old? We filled up his swimming pool and let him release some energy (hoping for a good nap later). We were so glad Grant loved swimming. He played in it for 2 hours while Matt and I sat like zombies watching him. Then we all took a 3 hour nap!!!!
