So it's about time I update. We went to Idaho and little did we know we would be leaving 70 degree weather for lots and lots of snow and cold. However, we loved having built in babysitters whenever we wanted and lots of family to hang out with.
Highlights of our trip:
Matt celebrated his 26th birthday while we were home. It was so much fun!! Happy Birthday babe we love you.

Matt's birthday party with my family

This is Matt being swallowed up by his neices and nephews before his birthday party. They love him so much and this is always how it is when he's around.

Matt blowing out LOTS of candles at his parents house

The first time Grant has seen santa. After this experience he kept saying "ho ho ho"

Christmas Eve my parents still give us jammies and then we take a group picture in them. So here we are. Ryan, Jess, Emma, and Jordan we missed you Christmas Eve.

My dad with his girls!! Showing off our new jammies.

Christmas Day. Second Christmas together with little Grant!!

Grandma Godfrey makes these blankets for her grandkids. Grant got his for Christmas and loves it. As you can tell he hauled it around everywhere he went.

Here he is attacking the new blanket

We spent Christmas Eve at my parents house and this is Christmas morning there. Grant is all boy. His favorites were the trucks.

The airplane

And the little dog that barks.

So we wanted to kill my mom for taking this picture when none of us were ready for a family group picture. But hey oh well this pretty much sums up our vacation...being lazy and hanging out.

We went to the Godfrey Getaway Cabin and snow mobiled and went sledding. Sorry not many pictures we were having to much fun, but this is Matt, Grandpa Godfrey, and Grant getting the sled ready to head down the hill.

My mom took Grant and his cousins Jordan and Emma to the pet store to see the animals. It was so fun. This is cute Emma and Jordan

Grant loved the puppies

This is Emma and Chi Chi the monkey who lives at the pet store and so the kids love to go see her there.

Grant attacked this poor cat, but it still came back for more
We loved going to a temple so close and visiting Grandparents in Utah. We were lucky enough to be in town for the Blanscett Christmas party and only there would you see Matt, my brother Ryan, and brother-in-law Brent Karaoking "Baby Got Back" and my grandparents dancing and laughing along.
Besides trying to avoid the flu from both families for all 3 weeks it was so much fun and we loved spending time with everyone and had an awesome Christmas.
